and then i painted this in art class. It's my first painting ever, so i'm excited at how it turned out. It's nothing close to the origianal, but i hope with practice and stuff, i'll improve. Painting is alot harder than i thought it would be ...^^; but I struggled. im getting better at mixing paint...but i think i'm gonna stay awasy from the color green for a long while. :giggle:

Oh, and Tyler took the picture with his camera and sent it too me... but he also cut off some of the edges...perhaps when i get my painting back ( the teacher wants too keep it this summer... :tears:) i'll get my dad to take a better pic...

yeah, so i'll stop rambling now. :D

ummm...last thing ( i swear!) this is done on a board that is around 4 1/2 feet by 3 feet about...

For your 'first' painting, that is insanely good. It scares me to think what you'll be able to produce in a couple of years time if you stick to practising on a regular basis

Good for your first painting. :) I must say the original picture is not something to do easy either, so it turned out well in my opinion :)

This is really beautiful Kim! However, I think it would be wise to make sure you have Saimain's permission to post this on dA, as it IS a copy of her work. I just don't want you to get in trouble for stealing, since dA is pretty anal about that kind of stuff.
